I Built PupFit Because My Dog Saved My Life.
My name is Sean. And this is Pepper's story as much as mine.
I adopted Pepper not knowing what I was in for. She came with energy I wasn't prepared for — the kind that doesn't ask permission and doesn't take breaks. At first I tried the standard playbook: toys that lasted three days, leashes that tangled, the constant wrestle of trying to wear her out while she wore me down.
And then something shifted. I stopped fighting her energy and started following it.
She didn't just change my routine. She changed my life.
Pepper got me off the couch in a way nothing else had. She became my training partner, my accountability system, and honestly — my therapist. But the more time we spent together, the more I noticed something missing.
Every single dog product on the market was designed for the dog. The human on the other end of the leash was an afterthought. Tug toys were ergonomic nightmares. Leashes were either too simple or too complicated. Nothing was built for both of us.
So I started building.
Five years. One system. Built for both of you.
What started as a solution to my own problem became something bigger. PupFit is the first modular fitness and training system designed equally for the dog and the human. Ergonomic handles. A bone that bounces unpredictably and rolls like a ball. A leash system that clips into 25+ configurations without a second thought.
We call it the Human-Dog Unit. Because that's what you are.
This is Year One of what comes next. And Pepper, as always, is leading the way.
